Our Story
Aaron and Kiera went to high school together and dated while Aaron was a Sophmore and Kiera was a Junior. After Kiera graduated, her and Aaron bumped into each other from time to time however had not talked very much. Aaron came home the weekend of Kieras 22nd birthday and after years of not talking they met for dinner. After spending a few weekends together, they both new that the other was the one for them. Aaron took Kiera camping over memorial day to Greenbo lake. This spot in Kentucky has great meaning to Kiera as it is somewhere her family would often visit when she was growing up. Greenbo lake was also one of the places Kiera's parents went for their honeymoon. Early in the morning of Memorial day 2006 while camping, Aaron did everything he could to get Kiera out of the tent (who just wanted to go back to sleep.) When Kiera arrived back from her shower, she unzipped the tent to Aaron sitting on the side of the bed with the ring box in one hand and yellow roses all over the tent. (yellow roses also have a special memory to Kiera as her grandfather would pick her grandma the first yellow rose that grew each year.)Aaron barely finished the question when Kiera said yes.
